About A to Z Healing Arts LLC
Hi, I’m Alissa Zemering—founder of A to Z Healing Arts and a Creative Arts Therapist with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. I’ve had the honor of working with people of all ages, from children and teens to adults and older adults, across settings like memory care, rehab, detox, and mental health services.
Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or a loved one, this space was created to help individuals and families connect with healing, expression, and meaningful growth. I work with both neurotypical and neurodivergentindividuals, honoring each person’s unique ways of thinking, feeling, and processing the world.
Unlock Healing Through Creative Exploration
Therapy is never one-size-fits-all. I offer a personalized, integrative approach that draws from a wide range of healing tools—blending talk therapy with expressive modalities like:
-
Art, music, and movement
-
Spirituality and mindfulness
-
Sound healing and animal-assisted therapy
-
Technology and digital expression
Some individuals or families prefer just talk therapy. Others benefit most from creative arts or a mix of both. Every session is tailored to the individual, family, or group’s unique needs and comfort level.
Together, we’ll create a therapeutic plan with compassionate goals—to help you or your child live from a place of happiness, joy, and love.
Art as Therapy
In addition to clinical Creative Arts Therapy, I offer Art as Therapy—a more relaxed, non-clinical approach to creative healing. This is especially helpful for children, teens, or adults who may not connect with traditional talk therapy or who feel more comfortable expressing themselves through creative processes.
No artistic skill is needed. The focus is on process, not perfection. Whether painting, drawing, building, or simply exploring materials, art becomes a powerful outlet for self-awareness, regulation, and joy.
